Personal Data Protection Notice

1. Data Controller

MTA Logistics Inc. ("MTA") acts as the data controller under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"). This notice informs you about the personal data we process in connection with our courier and shipping services.

2. Personal Data We Process

The following categories of data are processed when you use our services:

• Identity data: first name, last name, job title.
• Contact data: phone number, email address, sender and recipient addresses.
• Shipment data: tracking number, declared contents, weight and dimensions, delivery records.
• Transaction security data: IP address, session logs, cookie data.
• Proof of delivery: signature and photo captured at the time of delivery.

3. Purposes of Processing

Your personal data is processed in order to create, transport, track and deliver your shipment, to handle customer support requests, to run billing and accounting processes, to measure service quality and to fulfil our legal obligations.

4. Legal Basis

Your data is processed under Article 5 of the KVKK on the grounds that it is necessary for the conclusion and performance of a contract, for compliance with a legal obligation, and for the legitimate interests of the data controller.

5. Transfer of Data

Your personal data may be shared, only to the extent required by the service, with the couriers and contracted carriers performing the delivery, customs and public authorities, payment institutions and our information technology service providers. For international shipments, sharing with the customs authorities of the destination country is mandatory.

6. Retention Period

Shipment and delivery records are retained for the statutory limitation periods set out in applicable law (as a rule, 10 years). Once that period expires, your data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

7. Your Rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to:

• Learn whether your personal data is being processed and request information about it.
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose.
• Request the correction of incomplete or inaccurate data.
• Request the erasure or destruction of your data.
• Object to a result against you arising from analysis carried out solely by automated systems.
• Claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing.

You may send your requests by email to kvkk@mta.com.tr or in writing to our head office. Your request will be resolved free of charge within 30 days at the latest.
